BC Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit- Two Constables




The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit British Columbia(CFSEU-BC) is the province’s anti-gang agency. It is an integrated joint forces operation that develops and draws highly-specialized officers from federal, provincial and municipal agencies including West Vancouver Police.. CFSEU includes the uniformed Integrated Gang Task Force. This integrated approach enhances intelligence sharing, coordination and strategic deployment against threats of violence posed by organized crime groups and gangs in our province.


Integrated First Nations Unit - Two Constables




The Integrated First Nations Unit (IFNU) is an integrated policing unit established between the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the West Vancouver Police Department to provide enhanced policing services that are culturally sensitive and responsive to the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.


Integrated Road Safety Unit (IRSU)  - One Corporal




The Integrated Road Safety Units in B.C. are comprised of both RCMP and municipal police officers.


They are dedicated, mobile enforcement units that work closely with other road safety partners to tackle the most serious traffic issues in their particular areas through strategic enforcement, education and presence.  


Their priorities include aggressive driving, such as speeding, street racing and intersection violations, as well as seatbelt enforcement, impaired driving and commercial vehicle checks.


Vancouver Police Homicide Unit - One Corporal/Detective

West Vancouver Police assign a Detective/Corporal on full time secondment to the Vancouver Police Homicide Unit under a working agreement in which suspicious deaths in West Vancouver are jointly investigated by WVPD and VPD.
