On 2010 March 26 at 16:41 hrs. Members from the West Vancouver Police Department responded to a serious single motor vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Highway #1.

 

Two occupants are seriously hurt and medical attention is being provided to them. Their present condition at the time of this report is unknown.

 

Traffic members from the West Vancouver Police also attended the scene and closed the Westbound lanes in the area of the traffic incident.

 

Traffic is being diverted onto the Westmount westbound on ramp (Exit #7) and back onto Highway #1.

 

It is expected the road closure will be in effect for a minimum of three hours.

 

The West Vancouver Police recommend taking Marine Drive as an alternative to Highway #1 while travelling westbound.
