West Vancouver Police are working to identify the suspect in an attempted robbery Sunday night.

At approximately 8:30pm Sunday evening a female entered a coffee shop in the 1700 block of Marine Drive and demanded money.

The suspect indicated that she had a gun although no weapon was produced. The suspect left the premises without being given any money.  Patrol members responded to the area immediately, but were unable to locate the suspect amid heavy pedestrian traffic in the area.

The suspect is described as an older white female, in her 50’s, with white hair, wearing a cream coloured wind breaker, a Blue baseball cap, with a red and maroon logo.
