West Vancouver Police urge you to find a safe way home that doesn't include a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or Police here or across the Lower Mainland will find you.

With extra duty enforcement shifts scheduled throughout the holiday season, and the ongoing focus of West Vancouver Patrol Team members, drivers should expect roadblocks to pop up any day of the week. 

Overall, since December 1st, 17 drivers have been arrested by West Vancouver Police to face recommended Criminal Charges for Impaired Driving or Drive While Over .08.

West Vancouver Police have served 86 drivers with 24 hour Driving Prohibitions due to alcohol, 

Six 24 hour Driving Prohibitions have been served for Drug Impairment.

If you observe any vehicle being driven in a manner that makes you suspect the driver is impaired, West Vancouver Police encourage you to immediately call 911 for a police response.
