Gotch "Again"

Note to self: Out of shape, pockets bulging with stolen property, weighed down by five pounds of loose change, not going to win a race against a well trained police dog.

On Friday 2010 March 05 at 5:35 hrs. A well known and incorrigible  criminal was seen riding a bicycle in the 1300 block of Marine Drive in West Vancouver.

The 36 yr old male, the subject of previous police releases was found in possession of a large amount of property that was taken from at least one and maybe more break ins, even the bicycle he was riding was found to have been stolen from a break and enter.

After unloading some of the stolen items the suspect decided to run from the Police Dog Handler. Police Service Dog “Kai” was deployed and affected a rapid takedown of the male

The male was transported to the Lions Gate Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries he sustained in his unsuccessful attempt to flee.

The 36 year old male with no fixed address was found to have an extensive criminal history including over 47 convictions since 1995.
