West Vancouver Police are working to identify rightful owners of property seized during the recovery of a stolen automobile February 20, 2010.

A male suspect was arrested when found in a stolen vehicle early last Saturday morning in the 4300 block of Stearman Avenue in West Vancouver.

A number of key sets were among property recovered in the investigation, including vehicle keys and one key that appears to be a police gun locker key.
 

Investigators believe the keys were taken in unnoticed or unreported thefts.
 

Had the keys not been recovered in this investigation they could have been used in later attempted thefts.
