A suspect has been identified and arrested in connection with an attempted Robbery in West Vancouver January 17, 2010.

At approximately 8:30pm Sunday evening a female entered a coffee shop in the 1700 block of Marine Drive and demanded money.

The suspect indicated that she had a gun although no weapon was produced. The suspect left the premises without being given any money. There were no injuries.

West Vancouver Police circulated security camera images of the suspect and subsequently received information identifying a West Vancouver resident who was arrested without incident at her home Wednesday afternoon.

The 54 year old woman was released on a Promise to Appear at North Vancouver Provincial Court March 3, 2010.
